Founded in 2015, the Youth Network Against Poverty (YNAP-SS) is a nonprofit focused on eradicating poverty in South Sudan by empowering communities and fostering sustainable development. Established by South Sudanese youths, YNAP-SS was created after identifying poverty as a root cause of ongoing conflicts and instability. The organization emphasizes agriculture and agro-business as critical tools for economic independence and utilizes a strategy centered on empowerment, collaboration, and systemic change. Its mission and vision reflect a commitment to a prosperous, inclusive society where individuals have opportunities to thrive.
YNAP-SS operates through programs aimed at improving incomes, enhancing services, encouraging participatory policy-making, and changing public attitudes towards poverty. Governed inclusively, YNAP-SS invites wide participation in its mission to transform South Sudan.
